Playable and Well Arranged
I like this book very. much. I've played piano for over 40 years, and these songs are something I can read through slowly on a first time through and then work out the rough spots and bring them up to speed. The chords are rich and those interesting dissonances Gershwin loved shine through. I definitely recommend this book.

Useful
Not a bad book to own. I didn't find every arrangement to my liking, but The Man I love, Embraceable You and Summertime are good to play.

Very well worth your money!
I have quite a large library of piano music, but this particular volume of Gershwin pieces arranged by Lee Evans is one I return to frequently. I can't recommend enough the superb work of Lee Evans as arranger. His arrangements are generally in the intermediate to upper intermediate range, and are generally extremely tasteful, fresh, harmonically interesting, and a pleasure to play. From this volume I particularly enjoy "Someone To Watch Over Me," "Nice Work If You Can Get It,"They Can't Take That Away From Me," and "I Got Rhythm." If you take as much pleasure from this volume as I have, I also highly recommend Lee Evans's equally fine volume of arrangements of Antonio Carlos Jobim. You're basically safe buying pretty much any book of arrangements by Lee Evans you can get your hands on. He's a marvelous arranger! Happy playing!

Unusual Stuff !
This is really great! His jaunty rythmic treatment of some numbers is uplifting - "A foggy Day in London Town " at 200 to the bar and marked "Move it!" is a joy. Well recommended and worth every cent. Can we have more please by Mr Evans????

Extraordinary
The best jazz arrangement of Gershwin songs anywhere. One of my favorite books to play from.
