It's a joke
This book is a joke. This is what I called "Using Metallica name to sell". If you look closely, you'll noticed that majority of Metallica books is transcripted by Howard Fields except for this one. It's done by a guy named Greg Beyer.

Lars Ulrich works for me.
At the age of 52 I have taken up the drums, therefore learning is more difficult than if I was in my teens. However, it has been made easier with this very well written step by step introduction to playing. For anybody wishing to learn do not be phased because...

Great for beginners.
This book is an excellent book for those who are just beginning to play drums. It will allow beginners to gain confidence and will make building their chops more enjoyable because they know and love the songs they are learning.
