Practice that actually sounds good!
I had started and stopped practicing bass dozens of times before I found this. After tossing all the other crap I'd collected, I worked through this book exclusively for about 2 weeks. I now can play decent licks, work out my own tabs and am finally optimistic about advancing. Great...

This is a good book for beginners in that you are playing Metallica songs in no times and if you can read you can learn. It's easy to learn but always a little bit challenging and the CD doesn't tell you how to do it it just shows you how...
