Learn Handel's Messiah - Alto (CD). (Alto). By George Frideric Handel (1685-1759). For alto voice. Baroque. Difficulty: medium-difficult. Performance CD. Standard notation. Published by Choir Project (PR.498005520).
With Standard notation. Baroque. 5x5.5 inches.
"Learn Handel's Messiah" is an innovative teaching tool designed to help a choir singer learn their vocal part to Handel's masterpiece. Where previous recording have drowned out the intricacies of the individual vocal parts, these recording feature a stripped down ensemble for learning purposes. On the CD the LEFT SPEAKER features the particular choral part, while the RIGHT SPEAKER contains the rest of the ensemble. A choir member can set the balance to the left speaker and listen to their part alone. Once they are comfortable with their part, they cango back to the beginning and adjust the balance to the right speaker to sing along with the rest of the ensemble. Also available for soprano, tenor, and bass.
