Amazing Arrangements
Piano arrangements that are very much like the orchestrations. Keeps the spirit of the Carnival of the Animals......! Love it. They will take quite a bit of practice time to get up to speed, and to incorporate the character of each piece.

Found What I was Looking For
Was just looking for a nice, complete, piano version of, "The Swan" and found it here, as most are in orchestral format, according to my instructor. I am an intermediate to advanced player. Unfortunately, the piece requires much more dexterity than I anticipated. My instructor is helping me out along the way. Can't wait to master it.

I've always wanted to play this music
I have my music classes at school listen to this, we always enjoy it so much. I've always wanted to be able to play some of the pieces on the piano for them. Some pieces are fairly easy, and some will take some work. so there is a good variety within the suite.

Excellent transcription
This piece was originally written for two pianos accompanied by an orchestra. I was very pleased with this transcription because it seems accurate and sounds rich, even when played on one piano.

about style
Carnival has been written for children but it is not really a score for young beginners. However it can been easily transcriptable and simplified (for example the famous piece "The Swan"). The title "Aquarium" is very rich and directly closed to the original piano accompagnement. It looks technicaly like some pieces of Chopin as the "Etude-Fantaisie" for example.

Great personality
The music in these pieces really capture the personality of the animal they are trying to represent. I would recommend this book to children about 10 years of age.
