Killer

I love Jerry Lee's album - for me it's the best he ever recorded. So it doesn't come as a great surprise that I love the sheet music as well. My absolute highligt is "Twilight" - it's worth to buy the whole collection and really sounds like Jerry Lee on his album. I don't like to play the fast rock'n roll songs piano solo very much, but there are a lot of slower songs as well. Even songs I don't like too much on the album, are just great to play: Jimmy Reed's "You don't have to go" (the original is far better than Jerry Lee's duet with Neil Young, but Jerry's piano work is just fine)or "What's made Milwaukee famous" (I don't like the singing of Rod Stewart in this song). In short:If you like the album and play piano buy the sheet music.

Money well spent

If you've heard the CD, you will have to own this also. An awesome compilation of music done The Killer's very own style. 72 years old and he's still got the thunder.

Great product!

This is the songbook of Jerry Lee Lewis' latest album, a truly amazing masterpiece. As depicted on his website, it is written exactly as played by him (well, some very tiny differences may be spotted, but if you're good enough to see them, you're good enough to correct them ;) ), and this really makes this purchase a worthy one. It seems that the songbook of his greatest hits were transcripted by the same company, so I think I'll end up buying that one too ... even though there's now a lot of work - or more accurately, enjoyment - ahead for me. I was however very disappointed that the song "Sweet Little Sixteen" was not included for some obscure copyright reasons, but nevertheless, I'm looking forward to being able to play the rest of this wonderful album. Go for it!
