Very Emotional
I believe the songs contained in this book are not meant to be performed for others, but for the performer. The lyrics and music go hand in hand seamlessly to create a very emotional experience unfelt by any other pieces of music.

A gorgeous addition!
The Josh Groban: Josh Groban music book is a beautiful music book to have. It has all the songs from the title CD. Unfortunately there is no Italian to English translation in the beginning of the book like in Josh Groban: Closer. Aside from that, the music is very beautiful and even though there are a lot of key signature changes and a ton of accidentals thrown in, the music is really not difficult after you've played it through about three to five times. I love Mr. Groban's music, so it's great that his music books are not so simple that you can sight read them perfectly, but they are not so difficult that they are unbearable to learn. This book (as well as Josh Groban:Closer) is a definite must have for any Grobanite. : )

Fun!
What I really liked about this book was that you could play along with the CD because it uses the actual arrangements that are on the CD. The book has powerful, challenging songs for people of all ages to enjoy.

LOVED IT
I absolutely adore this music book. I played 'Vincent' and 'To Where You Are' at two band concerts last year and everyone loved them. I think that Josh Groban is one of the best artists in the world, and I would definately reccomend this book to everyone.

AWESOME!
This is an amazing book. When I play the songs, they sound just like on the cd! They are also pretty easy. I hope they make another book for his next cd.

Great arrangements!!!
I really like this book! The arrangements are pretty easy, but still sound nice. The songs are mostly in the same key as Josh sings them, so they're good to sing along. I am a huge Josh Groban fan and reccomend this book to any other fan!

Wonderful
This is just such a fabulous book. The piano accompaniments sound just like the real songs on the cd and aren't too difficult. This is one of the best songbooks I have ever purchased, but then again what can you expect from Josh Groban but the best?

Simply Perfect
I was so happy when I found this book!! I loved the CD and just had to play the songs too. The book sounds exactly like the CD. I have never had another book like that. I have even played several songs with the CD. The composers of this music are absolutely genius!! Several songs (like To Where You Are, You're Still You) I could play after a week. Other songs (like Alejate, Alla Luce Del Sole) are more difficult and have taken longer. I think that it is really cool when there is a variety like that. You can play songs easy songs, then work on hard ones. I have taken this book to my piano lessons and my teacher loves them too. I think she is a new fan of Josh. Thank you to the people who put this book together. You make enjoying Josh's music so much more fun. I love this book!!!

Voice of the millennium
I just bought the songbook and enjoyed so much playing the piano. I can't master the piano accompaniment but at least managed to play using the chords. Songs like To Where You Are, You're Still You and The Prayer are great. Josh's voice was really breathtaking when I listened to his songs for the first time. Thank you to the amazing producer, songwriters, lyricists and the musicians for their contribution to this wonderful album. Congratulation Josh!

Wow
This is a collection of the greatest songs ever. Really if you are a male singer this has a song for you. Gira con Me is my favorite. The Prayer is a great Duet and if you cant sing anything but English go for to where you are or your still you. Honestly all these songs are great.

Difficulty varies
All the songs are beautiful. Loved the songs I could play (piano) but that was only about half. Some songs had 5 or 6 sharps, some with 3 flats -too hard for me. Still glad I purchased book.

Wonderful
Not only is the music he sings wonderful to listen to it is also great to sing. I used one song for a performance, and one for an entrance audition. The range is pretty high, but it's great music that sounds wonderful. I enjoy it, i bet you will too.

Music given from God
The songs in this book are amazing. They have so much depth and are very captavating. I can sing five songs pretty well. Three of them perfectly. I think "To Where You Are" and "Vincent" are the most emotional songs ever.I seem to like a song that I cannot sing because I never get bored of them. The songs that play on the radio are easy to sing and I get tired of them quickly. Josh Groban has a tremendous voice and he is the best singer in my book. I wish I had half the talent he did, then I would be second best. You can't beat Josh. I am a major Grobanite and I love to sing these songs. This book was definitly a investment and not just money wasted.

Faithully transcribed...VERY Faithfully
This book, considering its CD counterpart is in stores, transcribes note-by-note and in the same keys as the CD extremely faithfully. Piano accompaniment is accurate and fun to play. Excellent book, and excellent songs. I recommend ordering Josh Groban's "Broken Vow" in single sheet music, which is performed on his live concert CD....it is a gorgeous song, full of DIM chords...they MAKE the song!

Simply Beautiful
Josh Groban is an incredible artist. It's awesome to be able to perform songs that he sang on the cd. I am very anxious to hear his next one. The music is just so captivating and overpowering. "To Where You Are" is one of the most moving and emotional songs I've ever heard. It is my favorite song and this book gives me the chance to play it on my own. I get to play along with the cd because the songbook is so precise. It is an excellent addition for a fan and a musician. I've enjoyed Josh's music for two years now and not a speck of it has left.

fantastic!
Can't brag enough on this book. Play it almost every day. Since almost all the songs are in the same key as Josh sings on the CD.......you can play along with the CD and imagine yourself accompanying this wonderful singer!!

pretty songs
its a good book..but its wierd to put both classical and pop pieces in one mix....i think it does not show a very steady range for anyone in particular..the music like "stary stary night" "you're still yOU" and "to where u are" is very good though..but at that point..just get those 3 songs seperate

Book worth twice what you pay!
I have enjoyed this music so much. I walk by the piano each day and will stop and play at least one song. The songs sound just like the CD! You will not be disappointed... I assure you. I'm buying this book for my friends and family when their birthdays "roll around". Each, so far, has been well pleased!

Just What I needed!
My friend and I had to sing this song at our Choir Spring Concert... This was our lifesaver! Without this we would have to sing this acapella

Just what I hoped!
Like many of the other reviewers have said, this book is really fabulous. The arrangements are fit to perform either with a singer or all by themselves. This has been a great purchase for me, I just can't stop playing these songs!

Great Song Book
This is such a great song book of Josh's best hits! I was not sure about buying this book at first because I do not like arranged songs that are not what the singer or the composer had in mind. When I recived this book I was over joyed to find out they are not arranged and are in the original key! I have sung many songs in my life and these are hard for a high school level tenor because they are very high. Although it is high a high school tenor would be able to sing any of the songs if they had a well developed voice. GREAT BOOK and everybody should own one!

Great Talent
I sang one of these songs (Let Me Fall) in one of my choir concerts, and it was almost like singing the real thing.....I was amazed the first time I heard him sing..it was like a sense of bliss embodied me...this guy's going to be great. Good songbook, strongly recommended for the many "Grobanites" out there.
