great collection
Great collection of songs. It would greatly help if the publisher would put the collection in a spiral bound book to accomodate the pages staying open, and put multipage arrangements on a fold out format.

John Denver Easy Guitar
Overall I do like the book, it is easy as the name implies, but some of the songs don't exactly sound like the original. I ordered this book to replace another I had a long time a go and somewhere in all the moving was unfortunately lost. To the best of my knowledge Rocky Mountain High in the other book uses a capo on the 1st fret and different chords to the one in this book. If you like John Denver I do recommend this book. There are some really good one's in it, like Annie's Song, Calypso, The Eagle and the Hawk, just to name a few and so far the chording seems easy to me.

For me it was what I could use.
This was good for me. Just lead notes that I could copy into my computer and then play the song back to memorize it.(I am some what visually impaired) The guitar cords are good. I try to sing some of the songs and the cords help. (I don't have to figure them out for myself) Nice book-- I'de recommend it.

a must for John Denver fans
The John Denver Anthology for Easy Guitar is a must for all John Denver fans out there who are just breaking into guitar playing. His music will not dissappoint and continues to resonate even after his death.

Good song selection
The chord diagrams right above the music allow for easier playing. I would recommend that the songs be shortened to 2 pages, so you don't have to turn the page, via repeats and D.S. ala Fine

Great Anthology
Easy guitar, just as advertised. Guitar chord diagrams, with mostly basic chords, are included throughout the songs. It also has the melody line which can be helpful if there is a tune with which you are less familiar. An unexpected bonus is the "John Denver: Reflections" at the beginning of the book, with a brief one page biography, and then 4 pages of commentary from John on some of his most well known songs!

Thorough and useful
An excellent resource for John Denver's best known work. Requires a little creativity if you go beyond chords, but well worth the money.

Best role model of country music!
John Denver is the best singer to sing along with! Any singer or guitarist loves to sing to his songs. Even my friends who think rap is the only good type of music approve his songs. As a beginner in playing guitar and an experienced singer, I love using by abilities to share my love of music with him! This book definately is a necessity!

Great for beginners
I liked this book not only for the chords, but for the interesting facts on how John Denver wrote the songs. I recommend this book to beginner guitarists everywhere.
