        Jazz Tracks for Singers Women's Edition

        What a great book. Although I have most of the songs in this format already, I didn't have the supurb piano backing tracks. It is so hard to get professional tracks so this was a delight to sing with.

        Perfect for an alto-jazz aficionada!

        I completely disagree with the negative reviews! I have most of the Hal Leonard jazz/female accompaniment track books, and this is by far my favorite. The accompaniment is a 3-piece rhythm section (piano, bass, drums (no horns, etc.), and NOT a synthesizer/midi set up), so the instrumentation is truly authentic....

        too low

        This compelation was too low for female voices. Jazz doesn't need to sound like it is comming from a man. Also, it is put together with staples which i didnt agree with. Make a book that will last, not fall apart when it is dropped on the floor. It says...

        CD doesn't have sung version

        I should have paid attention when I ordered this item. I don't know most of these songs, I don't read music, and the CD only has a sing along version on it. :(
