Great for Intermediate
Sure, when I was in High School 20 years ago, this would have been an easy book. But now that I am 20+ years older and my brain works slower, and having just picked the trombone back up after so long, this makes a great book to help get back...

Should be two CD's
Good selection of tunes but, difficult to eliminate the melody Xylophone. Would have been better to have two (2) CDs; one with melody and one with only the background music. Range is a little low and could have been done in higher keys. I had to transpose a full octave...

Nice content, strange tone range
This is a very good collection of jazz standards. The arrangements are ok, and the variety of progresssions are challenging enough for an intermediate trombonist. Personally I question the tone range of the melodic parts. I think there is a mismatch between the level of difficulty and the low tone...
