This a great book for a bassist looking to inject some fresh sounds into his book of licks. Be prepared to set your metronome to around 40 BPM if your a sight-reader like me, because its mainly 16th notes, and no riding any string. I recently played one of these...

Great fun!
This book is a lot of fun. It's challaging and rewarding at the same time. The accomanying CD is somewhat lacking in that the bassist doesn't play with any emotion. He strickly hits the right notes at the right times. This is good in hearing how the piece sounds rhythmically...
