Somewhat but not completely satisfied.
Larger print would have worked better for me.

hi
this is great for little kids, or even older people who just want something easy. I still stronlgy suggest that people playing out of this book try to move on to the real thing.

Simple but Good Arrangements
I hesitated b/c of some of the negative reviews, but I found this to be a great collection. I enjoy playing these pieces. I'm just not able to play Chopin otherwise. There's something a bit snobish about the reviews that don't want to allow simpler versions. Nobody's suggesting YOU have to play them or like them. I enjoy the unique Chopin melodies with enough harmony to make it come together nicely. I wish I had found this volume years ago. I cannot vouch for other volumes in the "It's Easy" series, but this one met all my criteria of intermediate classical music. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but there's nothing wrong with making advanced piano music available in an intermediate level.

Great For Beginner
Ok Ok. Perhaps Chopin shouldn't be re-arranged. But you have to think of the beginner's at piano. Geez...give 'em a break.

Great for beginners
I find this book very enjoyable. I need to buy another because I have worn my original out. We are not all accomplished pianist. I recommend it highly to those who love Chopin, but only have beginner skills. Maybe you piano "snobs" should skip this one.

A Travesty
Arranging Chopin is sick. The notes were written exactly one way, and that's how they should be played. No, it is not "easy to play Chopin," it's just easy to play Chopin that's been dumbed down. Don't buy this.
