Awesome album
I am a huge slipknot fan and wanted to play a lot of songs from this album but every tab on line sucked [...]. I finally bought the book and it is perfect, some of the songs are extremely hard. I still cannot figure out how to the intro to disasterpiece, it's hard and wierd. Anyway, I am so happy I finally got good tabs for some of my favorite songs like people=shit, everthing ends, and my plague, but I couldn't believe some of the tunings in this book, there are really low. Iowa is tuned all the way down to A, 3 and a 1/2 steps down jeez. That is so low. You definitely will want to invest in some thick strings, otherwise they will be too loose

Slipknot: Iowa
These songs are not easy to play like most people are saying. I bet none of you can play the intro to 'Disasterpieces'. There are a few tricky harmonics ('Everything Ends')that will keep you busy. I found this tab book to be very accurate and would highly recommend it to all 'Knot fans that play the guitar. Alot of songs however are in drop A tuning which may cause problems to most players. You'll need to invest in heavy guage strings otherwise they'll be far to loose. Great riffs throughout. Mick and Jim rule! If all of you could play all thses songs perfectly then you would think of yourself as a guitar God and quite rightly so!

Good book
I love it and think it's awesome.Very accurate and a little bit of a challenge.Be prepared for a low tuning though.Oh by the way.....to the people before me.you're suppose to write about the book, not about how much you do or don't like slipknot.Pantera and Slipknot both rule [..]

Slipknot
This is a great book by a good band. The songs aren't hard to play at all. I would only recommend some good guitar effects. Oh yeah, and to all the people that are hating on PANTERA and 80'S thrash metal should go get a clue. If there never was any of those bands, then there would'nt be any of these new bands like slipknot. I like Mike and Jim as guitarist, but how can people compare them to Dimebag Darrell. Dimebag is one of the greatest metal guitarist of all time and if u don't like him then your a discrace to heavy metal nu or old.

Slipknot is Metal
Jim and Mick can play really good and really fast, with no effort at all. If you think that slipknot is not Metal, then you are stupid.

Not Complicated but GREAT/CATCHY riffs!
Of course, it doesn't take a guitar genious to play this material but it's very fun to play and it sounds good. One guy here seems to love Pantera and hate Slipknot. I'm sorry, buddy, Dimebag is an excellent solo guitarist. He can fly. But his riffs are trudgy and week. Plus their drummer sucks. They are too cocky for how "ok" they are. Slipknot has a great drummer, vocalist, and good riff writers. I like them alot. I'm interested to hear their next album. Ya wanna know some good bands....Sepultura, Testament, Machine Head-(before their previous 2 albums)

Oh Yeah!
This book is great. Accurate tabs, even though some bits are a bit tricky. Harder than i expected,i thought because its heavy it would just be simple chords but i was wrong. Mick and Jim are great guitarists. Pity about the tuning, prepare to tune down many steps!!

Slipknot
The 1st tab book was horriable on accuracy. This is much better. Its not to hard just gotta pick fast, know how to do pinch harmonics, natrual harmonics. All the riffs are downpicked so that might be a b@$% from time to time. Not hard tho. =]

AWesome
This is a very accurate book, I did find one mistake, on the intro to Disasterpiece there is a filtered wah, but other than that it's perfect. It's not really tough but if you're just beginning it might be. Also, to those other guys, if the songs are so easy why did you even buy the booK?

nothing beats one finger chords
If you buy this book and can play it through don't think of yourself as a metal god 'cause all you are is a poser with one finger and heavy gauge strings. A chimp could come up with what Slipknot produce and a chimp could play it. There is more to metal than Slipknot and there is more to guitar than Mick and James.

This is a great six string tab book, its all correct and really fun to play. Some of it is a little complicated but if u are a good guitar player it will go pretty easy. Just make sure you can tune down MANY steps.
