Amazing edition
This is one of the first henle editions I ever bought. The content is impeccable, with beautiful non-glare paper and very clear printing. There are no page turns because every piece takes up exactly two pages. My copy is quite beaten up because I have learned all of the inventions...

Superior Edition

Inventionen-Sinfonien
My order arrived quickly, well-wrapped. The music is well-bound and very-clearly printed. My only complaint is that the markings for incidentals are so tiny I must often get up-close to decipher them. That quibble does not lessen my appreciation of this fine, clean edition of these works.

They are good suggestions, but not always in line with my interpretation; they are distracting. I...

Best Book on Bach Inventions/Sinfonias
I like this version because it does not mark dynamics. Bach did not mark dynamics and leaves it to the eye of the beholder. Consider the difference in the recordings from Gould or Schiff. Different interpretations. This book give you the flexibility under instructor guidance to experiment with the different...
