Kurt Cobain and Steve Albini: What A Duo
This is book is great. In Utero was the best album from Nirvana. While Nevermind has the trademark watery and murky vibe to it In Utero has that raw rock feel. With Steve Albini's help..Kurt,Krist,and Dave were to create one of the most great underated album of all time.

fun....
For a nirvana fan this is a pretty good book to have. Honestly, it's best to figure out the songs yourself, that way you actually get much better at guitar, and then buy the book to make sure that you were correct. The album is very fun to play especially songs like tourette's and the unit shifter because of limitless improvisation possibilities, actually the whole album sounds better if improvised (but still stick to the original rhythm). Oh yeah! please don't go and buy a rotovibe like it says, the solo on heart-shaped box and other songs are achieved by a flanger.

The best nirvana book
Unlike the mediocre "Nevermind" book, this is actually a high-quality transcription with no apparent mistakes. When I was first learning guitar, I got a lot out of this book, and in a month or two I was able to learn every song on the CD except "Radio Friendly Unit Shifter," which had too much noise and feedback to figure out. Four years later, however, I'm no longer into the band, and this stuff is just far too easy. Deffinitely not a book for experts, unfortunately.

NIRVANA REVIEW
The follow up LP to Nevermind was In Utero darker and even better, it will touch on those nerves that few songs can hit. Songs such as "All Apologies," "Heart Shaped Box" and "Penny Royal Tea" seem to capture a sadness you can never let go and never want to . Each song has its own special pain. Kurt Cobain died shortly after the making of it, but he left behind one last master piece of his greart music for us. That having been said, the tab will teach you how to vent your anger, hatered, and frustrations like nothing else can, so buy and play hell out of it.

Hard Rockin'
Wow! After playing songs like "Frances Farmer" or "Milk It," you'll stand back in amazement because of the awesomeness. You'll also take comfort in knowing that every tab is 100% accurate. Very worthwhile purchase.

brillll book
this book gives you the most accurate nirvana tabs ever. you sound brill after hearing yourself play. For "heart shaped box" put your amp a bit distorted and use the middle pickup when the heavy bit comes in change the pick up to the bridge it sounds 100% right

Awesome book. The only place that I've seen a good version of Heart Shaped box. Penny Royal Tea is also extremely accurate R.I.P. Kurt!

A great book to own
The book truly stands out in it's accurate and seems to really capture Nirvana's style. The most important thing is when you play their songs don't try and play it in 100% accuracy or it'll mess you up. All you have to do is get the basic rhythm and chord progressions (which should be pretty easy) and strum away. That's why the guy that wrote the review below mine says that you have to be good at guitar to play the songs, cause he was probably trying to do it note by note.

nirvana in utero
very great album and best transcription.gives notes, tab, chords, tunnings, how to do the feedback, everything!if you know nirvana you know that they use feedback and tons of effects etc. this book helps to do that.warner brothers is total crap.this is a hard album to do due to many effects and improvising.dont try it until your pretty good at geetar.keep rockin!
