    Walter Gieseking--Schubert Impromptus

    Gieseking conducted master classes at the conservatory in Saarbrucken, Luxembourg (early 50s). I marveled at his hands and technique. This volume is a treasure; work at his fingerings to get close to his fabled tone.

    Impromptus and Moments Musicaux

    I am very happy with this edition and its notations for fingering. The editor's suggestions regarding ornaments in the appendix are helpful as well

    Beautiful, almost magical, music by Schubert

    Beautiful pieces. A pleasure to play. Catches hold of the listener. Very clear and readable edition. High quality printing.
