sweet book
It was pretty easy to learn, but it sounds really cool, so that made it all worth it. It's a great book to show off with. I don't really get why the heck all these guys are sending in reviews about the band and not the book though, it's just wasting other people's time.

Great book
Very helping book and easier than i thought. Sure Linkin Park aren't the best with the Guitars compared to other bands but best songs arn't always the songs with the loudest guitars. Linkin Park's style of fusion between hip hop and Rock is very unique and broad. [...]

book is very good and accurate.
I really don't understand people like timmy that writes a review about the band and not about the book. If you don,t like the band, just stay away form the book and keep your mouth shut. The book is very good and accurate. That whats matters

Accurate Book
Linkin Park is a great band even though their bass and guitar players aren't the best. They do produce catchy songs. If you want practice at *alot* of power chords in drop d tuning then this is the book for you. Also if you love using natural harmonics pushing me away is the song! The book is not "entirely" accurate. The notes are the same but Brad does play the certain songs on a different part of the fret board (a place for my head). But the notes are identical so you won't even notice.

concerned LP fan
ok i admit they aren't the best in the world but they are to me. but thats my opinion. and to set the record straight I HAVE STUDIED HOW LP PLAY THEY DO NOT USE A DJ FOR THERE GUITAR SECTIONS! OK yes they do have a dj for mixing samples thats about it. lp play live and they have very little time to start puttin guitar samples together on a turn table live so which ever idiot said this is wrong. i mean come on if they did that they wouldnt need the guitarists in the 1st place. my advise be more level headed about new things give the guys a chance they aint been around asl ong as metallica has.

Curt Hamlet Sucks
He sucks. Dream Theater's John Petrucci is the best in the world. Why? Not because I only said so, but because his solo's have been timed and have been proven the fastest. Plus, his extensive use of pedals creating a wider range of effects and extremely complicated guitars. More then half of Dream Theater's songs are unrecreatable simply because the guitar part is just way to advanced. Dream Theater alwways uses orchestral instruments in every song to. It's beyond art. "Misunderstood" by Dream Theater is one of the best songs of all-time, as polled by the City of Vancouver. Containing 2, 7 string elec guitars, a 6 string elec guitar, a 6 sting bass, and an acoustic guitar + Full Orchestra. Also, this book is very good. But it.

Timmy is right ppl, u dont know metal
my god ppl....if you want to learn guitar thats difficult but really good, check out guitarists like kirk hammet(metallica), Kerry King (Slayer), Dave mustaine and Marty Friedman(megadeth), Jimi Hendrix, Dimebag/Diamond Darrell (Pantera), Dave Murray (Iron Maiden), and must I go on??! Linkin Park is like a rap-rock band, and most of their guitars are chords n junk with a dj (who knows why a rock band needs a dj, for the media i guess?) but then again most of you fans here aren't into complicated 2-person guitar parts and blindingly fast solos. For those who care, I suggest checking out the art of kirk hammet book sold on this site.

Timmy is wrong.
Almost every song by Linkin Park has a guitar ("Cure for the Itch" is the only one I can think of that doesn't.

just sayin
the book is ok, it's not the best book ever but hey linkin park isn't my absolute favorite band either. if you like linkin park enough then buy it, for me it isn't worth it. that said, i just feel the need to tell mya that linkin park is definately NOT punk rock. seemed like she was slightly confused about that.

LP
Okay, so there are about ten mistakes, its still really acuarate. And like people have said you can figure out the right notes. It's not worth every penny because most of the songs are pretty easy. But Linkins guitar player, Brad or Rob, I think, somebody tell me, is a really fast player. To make stuff easier, just player eighth notes as a whole note. "Forgotten" is pretty hard, just practice. In about a month or to you'll be able to show off to your GIRLFRIENDS!!!!, guys!!!!!

Bombing The Charts!!!!
You Know What?? Linkin Park is by far the best in a while. People who have just started can play most of the songs on the first try. Some, like "Forgotten", take a little more practice. But after a while, you can perform it with no mistakes.

Linkin!!!!
They are the best. Limp Bizkit is NOTHING. LB have way too easy songs. Linkin Park is not that hard, and this is a good book for a beginer. There are a few mistakes, but if you've got the cd, you can listen for the right note.

Quality Book for a Quality Band
If you're a Linkin Park fan, and you play guitar, it only makes sense to buy this book. Awesome heavy sounding riffs! I rated it intermediate, cuz thats what it is. Its not easy pulling off all the natural harmonics in Pushing Me Away! This book will help you learn some interesting techniques, and who could get tired of playing Linkin Park songs over and over? GREAT BOOK!

LINKIN PARK ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I absolutely love Linkin Park, especially Rob! They're definitely the best rock band out there in the music world today (at least I think so)! They're songs have such great meanings behind them and the good thing is that they don't have to use such "colorful" language to get people to listen to their music. They're definitley a very positive band and I know they'll be around for many years to come. I can't wait until their concert comes to my city.

LP Rocks!!!
LP truly rocks! I mean, come on... They got the lyrics and they got the voice! They don't just shout and shout, you know! At least their songs have substance and some sense! And they do look much better than all the other rock bands... Have you seen any other bands who's changed "hairdos" monthly? Hah! Think 'bout that!

LINKIN PARK RULES!!!!!!
Dude, Timmy man, how could you diss on my band like that? These guys are so tight. You obviously haven't really listened to their album. I mean, come on, only an idiot would think these peeps suck. Everyone has a right to their opinion, and here's mine: In my opinion, your opinion was lame and not well thought out. LP is THE band.

Linkin Park
These guys are all right. Timmy is wrong. This book is excellent. Linkin Park are an awesome band. They were not put together, they have been together for a long time. Linkin Park was known as Hybrid Theory, and before that Chester was in Grey Daze, just look up the history of the band. They are awesome. The DJ isn't the backbone of the band, in fact he also plays guitar and piano. Learn your facts timmy. Linkin Park is awesome, buy the book and the album.
