Boogie-Woogie is Fun!

The music is fun to play! It doesn't take very long to get the rhythm and be able to play both hands together.

excellent intro to boogie woogie

I was looking to get into the Yancey/Ammons/Lewis boogie woogie blues piano style and this book is very accessible. It deviates substantially from the originals if you compare to recordings, but if you're just getting into boogie woogie, this will do a great job getting you going. Much of what...
