Excellent Starter Book
This book is an excellent introduction to fake book playing for someone who already has a working knowledge of piano/keyboard. It starts with simple triads and easy accompaniment patterns, and builds to an intermediate level. A player who already has a good knowledge of chord playing might find the book...
