A must for true fans!
This book along with the other in the series makes an excellent study tool for the true B.J.scholar. The study Cd makes sense of keyboard parts barely audiable on the real recordings and makes for fun practice play-along. The book however falls short to include the entire scores...why does Hal Leonard do this!!! Instead, you get only 2 or 3 pages of each piece. The Billy Joel keyboard book is a much better buy if you're a more accomplished player, either way i find the study CD invaluable to understanding this music.

There are better B Joel books available
Good Concept. Falls a little short. This would benefit players new to Billy Joel sheet music. Some of the notation is simplified compared to other versions I own. Has better intros than the arrangements. The cd is lame. It sounds like generic MIDI converted to an audio cd. But I guess it could help some people figure out the tougher spots. The commentary doesn't provide anything profound. Bottom line: I wouldn't recommend it for those that already have Billy Joel in their repetoire.
