I love this book! My only quibbles are that the pieces in the book aren't numbered as they are on the CD although they are in the same order. Also, just a bit more theory regarding Gypsy scales and the like would have been nice. Overall though, the tunes and...

Great Collection of Gypsy Tunes
I love this book for the generous number of pieces. You definitely need to be in an intermediate to advanced level player to play these technically challenging pieces. The recording is amazing and the violinist is astonishing. I strongly recommend listening to the music before reading it. Like most folkloric...

Great Book!
This is a challenging and exciting book for the intermediate/ advanced level fiddle player. It does presume knowledge of a lot of traditionally classical bowing techniques, so having some classical background is helpful. The CD is great! My friends and I are having a lot of fun with these tunes....
