good book for old school rhcp fans
this is a good book for people that can't really learn songs by ear. The collection of songs they picked could be better but it's still a good group of songs. this book is good to get if youre just looking for an idea of the progression and make up the rest.

Good Buy, but Not Complete
This book is very useful to learn some of the tough guitar playing (especially by Frusciante) that is in these selected songs. The only complaint I really have is that it doesn't have the full songs tabbed out in some cases, i.e. "Under the Bridge," but it certainly gives you enough to work with. If you can master what the book gives I'm sure you can make up your own variations and give the songs your own flavor. The book gives you hints on the strumming and playing technique used in the songs. It also has an accompanying CD that helps demonstrate the licks. Really helpful for intermediate players such as myself (who care a lot about learning technique), advanced players who just want to learn the tunes may be better off buying a guitar fully recorded verions of their favorite album, but this would still be quite helpful, also depends on what song you want.

How cool !!!!!
I'm an average player...maybe even better than average but i still struggle to work out tunes on my own...and many of these tunes r unavailable elsewhere...especially fight like a brave....so to have so many cool songs in the one book....wow My only reservation was the price which was a little harsh but eventually well worth it. In 2 words....BUY IT !!!
