Great Classical Themes
An excellent selection of famous music by over 30 composers much of which is not often transcribed for piano.The range is moderate to advamced.I specially liked the excerpts from symphonies and concertos.

Wonderful selection!
Being another one who has come back to the piano after a long time, and having played much of it on the cello as a young person, I was very excited to find many of my favorites in this collection. I like the transition from pretty simple to more challenging...

A Useful Addition to my Repertoire
I found this album a useful addition to my musical collection, primarily because it includes pieces that one does not usually find in an album of classical music, i.e. piano adaption of Mahler's Adagietto from his 5th Symphony, piano adaptation of Mendelsohn's Violin Concerto, etc. Because of these interesting inclusions,...

A wonderful compilation
Having taken piano lessons at gunpoint as a child I gave it up and didn't start playing again until I was 50. The enjoyment of playing these classics is immeasurable. The arrangements do justice to the original works. I highly recommend this book!
