Music not entirely "Great"
As a piano student myself, I have found this book generally has been up to standard. There are a few exceptions to this though. Throughout the music itself there are naturals, flats, and sharps that have been added when they are not needed. Two problems are that it appears that...

Simple and Fun
Yes, this book is filled with very simplified classical masterpieces. So if you're trying to advance your talents and expand your musical repetoire, this isn't the book for you. -BUT!- If you're looking for something fun and relaxing to play that will really impress your less-musically in-tune friends, then this...

Horribly simplified
I have purchased other books from Hal Leonard and been pleased with them. Guess I should have been clued by the title: "Themes" -- That's what all the pieces seem to have been chopped down to. Simplified music is not necessarily bad, but it should be clearly marked as such....

Not popular but great Music
I am an amatuer Pianist and for all the others like me -- The songs are easy to learn and you can impress all your friends with your playing. This also works well if your already good with piano so you can impress all your friends even more.
