Granite Bay Overture by John O'reilly. Concert Band. Concert Band. Young Symphonic. Grade 2. Conductor Score & Parts. 260 pages. Published by Alfred Music Publishing (AP.20685).

Granite Bay is in the heart of the Northern California area that was so dramatically affected by the discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill in 1848. This descriptive overture musically chronicles the range of emotions encountered by those early prospectors as they set off to make their fortunes. Great fun!
