Gospel Mass by Robert Ray. For Choral (SATB). Choral. Festival. 56 pages. Hal Leonard #51705. Published by Hal Leonard (HL.44707014).
For centuries, the world's great composers have set the Ordinary of the Mass in a wide variety of styles. Ray has surrounded these texts with the joyous styles of contemporary African-American music. All six movements work well as individual anthems, but collectively they form a truly powerful performance experience. Available separately: SATB, ShowTrax CD (w/Rhythm Section) and Score/Parts for Full Orchestra.
