Nice arrangements
I really like Marks work. This book is challenging for me. I play at an Intermediate Level 2 so there are songs in this book I am unable to play in public, but it certainly would be a book that more advanced pianists would enjoy.

Beautiful arrangements
Mark Haynes is a great arranger. His pieces have beautiful chords and runs. This book is for the advanced player. I'm a fairly accomplished amateur player (practice 30-60 minutes most days), and can learn these after a couple of weeks' practices. These take some time to learn, but the result...

Best Arrangements Out There For Advancing Pianists
Mark Hayes has created a beautiful collection, with influences from pop, jazz, and ragtime. Most of the pieces are old Gospel Classics such as I'll Fly Away, In The Garden, Old Rugged Cross, etc. How Great Thou Art is the most difficult, but still easily mastered for the advanced pianist....

Mark Hayes never misses!
Gospel songs beautifully and imaginatively arranged, as you'd expect from Mark Hayes! I love the unexpected touches that make his arrangements such a joy to play and hear. Listening to the CD really helps me learn the pieces. Not for a casual pianist, but can be learned by a competent...
