As you can tell from the various reviews, this piece is appropriate for various occaisions. The beautiful melody and words touch hearts! Our church choir sang this piece at the funeral of a fellow choir member...it was one of his favorite pieces and held great meaning for us all to be able to perform it in his honor.

Peace be with you
This is a lovely benediction used in a church we belonged to several years ago. I love both the words and the music.

Excellent parting hymn
We used the music for a parting song near the end of a wedding reception. It was very appropriate and appreciated by the wedding bride and groom and wedding guests. It was sung by a mixed quartet with limited rehearsal time. We believe it is a simple but very meaningful parting hymn. We plan to use it with our family at our 50th wedding anniversary. The order shipped and arrived in minimum time fulfilling our need.

for a special good-bye
Lovely, easy (except for intonation) and meaningful. A welcome Besig offering. Our congregation appreciated it.

Great closing song
We sing this at the end of every worship service, and the congregation really loves it. A few notes don't go where you expect them to at first, but it doesn't take long to get used to them. It's really a beautiful song.

Our church choir sang this and then the congregation picked up on it and we used it for our closing song. I'm asking for it to be used at my funeral.

This was sung by a small congregation in a lovely little church in Saugatuck, MI. It was so moving and intimate. I've hunted down this sheet music and am glad to have found it.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PIECE THE FIRST TIME I HEARD IT SUNG. DEFINATELY A 2-3 TISSUE SONG! WONDERFUL MOVEMENT AND MELODY. IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I'M BEING WRAPPED IN A WARM BLANKET BY MY HEAVENLY FATHER. ALMOST PRAYER-LIKE.
