VERY simple
I was disappointed with this book. It may be just the thing for some, but I expected a lot more with it being classified as "intermediate." The arrangements were very simple, actually TOO sparse to stand alone & still sound like Gershwin.

Not bad....
These are all very playable arrangements which, in some cases, leave something to be desired. There is a lot of room to improvise and embellish, and in some cases it is almost a necessity. Some of the arrangements sound fine on their own. All in all, it's a good book...
