Great book
I have used these books for a couple of years and found them to be the best theory texts. They are very complete but don't try to do too much in one book. I also like how big the spaces are to write in--small hands need larger staffs!

These books provide thorough knowledge of theory. But they're appropriate only for students age eight or older, who are more mature than younger students. Because they do advance quickly, and do offer an excellent foundation.

I love these theory books! I teach from the Piano Adventures books and when a student gets to level 2B, I switch to these theory books starting with preperatory level. My students get through each books in 5 to 6 months. These books teach just as the title suggests, the...
