Great book

I have used these books for a couple of years and found them to be the best theory texts. They are very complete but don't try to do too much in one book. I also like how big the spaces are to write in--small hands need larger staffs!

outstanding

Thorough teaching of theory, presented in workbook form, which is easy to use. Self-explanatory. Works well. This is the best theory textbook I have found.

Fantastic!

Just what I was looking for! Very basic beginnings for my eight-year-old. Step-by-step from square one. Much better than any other theory books I have seen.

thorough

These books provide thorough knowledge of theory. But they're appropriate only for students age eight or older, who are more mature than younger students. Because they do advance quickly, and do offer an excellent foundation.
