Yes, there are other arrangements of this lively Spanish carol, but none so perfectly crafted for 3-part mixed groups. That's what makes a Donnelly/Strid arrangement special: an attention to the strengths and limitations of young singers. The piano part is simple and supportive, and a pronunciation guide is included for the few lines of Spanish text. It's an excellent cross-cultural choice for your December concerts. May be sung a cappella.

Fum! Fum! Fum!
Fun piece, not too difficult. My choir members found the second verse in Spanish a little tricky to sing since the tempo of the piece is so fast. With more rehearsal time, I think all could have mastered that verse. I ended up having three singers do the verse with...
