This is an excellent edition. Comprehensive and informative. The editor's notes at the beginning help provide valuable background information to the works and their composition. Useful for both teachersof intermediate/advanced students and performers alike.

A must for Bach admirers

Henle is definitely the authority on Bach. Bach's Suites are often overlooked on the switch from Inventions/Sinfonias to Preludes/Fugues, but the dances are very much worth playing.
