Amazon failed me!
I originally went to Amazon to purchase this book, but all it didn't come with the separate Clarinet part that I needed. So, I found it here. Ordered it, got it fast, and enjoyed it. All parts included.

tempo problems
I purchase music for future study that involves some level of difficulty. In this case it is the tempo of 138. It would take me approx. 2 weeks of intense practice to attain this tempo. These compositions are the result of my interaction with UIL High School Band competition students. I provide accompaniment when feasible.

Very Practical Version
I listened to the orchestra/string version of "five bagatelles" while practicing to coordinate the ornamentation and dynamics i would have to implement for my senior recital. This version is very easy to read, and has enough markings and suggestions (italian, not english, thouugh) to fully explain the nuances needed to fully accomplish the effect intended by Finzi. The only problem i had with the "bagatelles" is the confusing dynamic markings in the 5th movement. Other than that, i recommend this version.

Finzi Five Bagatelles
Along with Ferguson's Four Short Pieces the Finzi Bagatelles are some of the finest English clarinet music in the repetoire widely used for teaching and examination/concert performance. I have taught and played them for some forty years.One or two pieces in each book are suitable for quite junior clarinetists.
