Appropriate songs for fingerstyle guitar
The selections in this book work well in the fingerstyle format. Most are standard tuning with the exception of a few dropped D songs. The arrangements are certainly early intermediate except "Just the Way You Are" which seems more advanced than the other songs. The arrangements would be good to play at an anniversary party or a similar affair. They are simple enough to play but have enough "meat" to sound nice. They are all in easy to play keys. The caveat with the Hal Leonard fingerstyle series is that you get a lot of songs that repeat from book to book. Also, the page turns are a problem - could you print with less white space?
