These are very simple songs that need a little creativity to make them interesting - but it's a nice book to have on hand. A couple of the accompaniment arrangements are annoying, such as It Is Well With My Soul where it tends to duplicate the melody in a harsh way. Be Thou My Vision could have used a key change to break the monotony of three identical verses except for dynamics.
