Father and Daughter
A decent piano arrangement of this late Paul Simon classic; translating a guitar part to piano isn't easy. The lyrics are rich and quirky -- "Just open your window and follow your memories upstream to the meadow in the mountain where we counted every falling star"; "I'm gonna stand guard like a a postcard of a golden retriever." It worked very nicely as a solo with accompanist for a Girl Scout fundraiser.

Such a heartwarming song!!!
I've been somewhat possessed by the lyrics ever since hearing Paul Simon's song, wanting to sing it to my child and savor the love. So I just had to have the sheet music in order to learn it completely and add it to my own repertoire. Truly among the most moving songs about a parent and child, with such an upbeat rhythm.
