Good Literature

Jacob's "Fantasia" is a great piece for any High School or University level instrumentalist. It has recurring themes throughout and has a great contrast in registers. overall, a chanllenging and fun piece.

Completely Lyrical

I play both the Bassoon and the Euphonium, and I must say this piece and Gordon Jacob's Concerto for Bassoon are two of the most wonderful pieces I have perfromed for a recital. This Piece along with the Carnival of Venice are my two favorite Euphonium solos written

Awesome piece, but lacks some things
