marvelous mexican piece

This is a typical mexican piece from Manuel Ponce in a very understanding way transcribed by Jascha Heifetz. Do not be quenched because of the scale f# major. It is a real good training for your ears! Very complex harmonics must be thought through very well to bring out the...

Fast and Reliable

Estrellita is a very beautiful piece. It involves a lot of shiftings. In order to play the true melody of it, a lot of practice are required. So ... Good Luck =)

Perennial charmer

Manuel Ponce's timeless song in Heifitz' superb arrangement. Watch out for that key signature!

Fascinating piece everyone loves

Among many transcriptions for violin and piano by Heifetz, Estrellita especially brings you quietness and rest. Advanced violin plyers tend to pick up a rather technical-oriented and emotional piece to play, but I strongly reccomend to play a pieceful, tanquilizing piece such as this.

sweet little serenade

This is a beautiful little piece for violin and piano, it has six sharps and large leaps to high positions so I wouldn't recomend it until you are very sure of yourself way up the fingerboard. It is only one page long.
