Great Classical Collection (1yr playing)
I'm a new adult piano player (1 yr), and this book is perfect for me. A wonderful collection of Medieval to Classical pieces that are not way over my head. And, it has more than enough for me to grow in to, (relative Beginner play to Intermediate/more technical pieces). 40+ composers represented including B, B, B, C, Liszt, Schubert, and a few more that are perfect to help graduate your level of play. Offers a brief history of the composer & history of the piece as it related to his life. Editor Notations / Suggestions included, and are nice addition to grow in to (trills, why a slur was used / how to play). Suggestions are not obtrusive if you want to stay with the original music. Also includes suggested tempo range (BPM), fingering, and much more. I learned more from this book in the past few weeks than I've learned from the dozens of books I've purchased so far. 84 selections. Spiral bound. Printing is a good size and is crisp (grayed notations are very legible).
