El rey de Fransia - Score only arranged by Robert Sheldon. For concert band. FJH Developing Band. Score only. Full set (score and parts) also available: B1301. Grade 1.5. Score only. Composed 2006. Duration 2:20. Published by The FJH Music Company Inc (FJ.B1301S).
Written in medieval times, El rey de fransia is an example of a Sephardic folk tune. In its original form many centuries ago, it was a plaintive love song. This band arrangement provides an updated setting of this haunting melody, and maintains much of the enchanting piece's color and exotic elements.
