My Favorite Music and Arrangement
I love this music; the sheer sweetness and lyricism of its passages still bring tears to my eyes after many years of playing it. And I love this old Eichhorn/CPP/Belwin arrangement; I always have. Good, but not in the original key.
This is a simplified arrangement and it is not in the original key. A solo version that is more faithful to the original can be found in the book "24 Piano Transcriptions of Classical Masterpieces." Look for "24 Piano Transcriptions - 2nd Edition." here on Sheet Music Plus.

This is a wonderful song. Although the left hand becomes tedious in a couple measures, a little bit of editing by the pianist improves it greatly. Be aware though that the sample page is quite a bit more simple than the rest of the piece. As a teenager who likes...
