best of metallica

This is the best way to learn to play guitar. Even when you already play guitar it is still very good to practice

A start... but not the best one

I think this book is good for people who are just starting out... but I found that some of the riffs that were "simplified" ended up sounding nothing like the recorded version. I was also suprised that the intro of Enter Sandman was harder to play the way it was described in this book. I would suggest trying to play the real stuff first and if you're really stuck try this instead.

Amazing

It's a pity it doesn't include solos and hard riffs, but it's great 4 beginners.

good buy for a beginner

If you're an experienced player, don't buy this. It doesn't include the solos and leaves out some of the more difficult riffs, including the whole intro riff to Master of Puppets. However it is great material for a person with only a couple of months of experience.
