Worth Every Penny!!
This boxed set is amazing! It is easy to read and understand. I have learned so many eagles tunes inside out because of this. It is very detailed and just all around a great buy.

Not for the faint hearted
I bought both volumes from my local cd store, the manager just wanted to get rid of them as the retail price was listed at $82.95 each (Australian dollars). I got both for a total of $95 Australian pesos. Enough of that. These transcriptions seem fairly "authentic". The multi guitar parts are transcribed in detail. My main criticism would be that the size of the font is quite small and you really need either young eyes or a magnifying glass to see some of the notes. Generally anything published by Hal Leonard is far easier on the eyes. I certainly would flinch at paying full price for these, you might be better off with a Greatest Hits compilation unless you need to learn the Eagles pantheon. Also you would want to be a pretty damn good player to pull off this stuff as transcribed. No good for "loose" players.
