GREAT
the CD is the best part of the bundle and alone worth the price! Mac lays it all out - the history, the tradition, the terminology, his own thoughts behind his work and much more. Though you need at least some jazz background to dive confidently in the material...

Not all songs in print form
No printed music for:"Albert Ammons Boogie", "How Long","Down by the Riverside", "Whirlaway". Songs are available for listening to on the accompanying CD with a written analysis or commentary about them in the book. Informative, but not what I was hoping for.
