Very Nice
Lots of fun to play. There is only one song I do not know, and that is because I never saw that movie. I go through and play most of the music.

I love all the old Disney songs. Really try to find solos that allow you to play the whole song with your instrument.

FUN TO PLAY ALONG
The CD that comes with the book is so helpful since 2 tracks are attached to each selection. The first is whole and the second is minus the solo. I play the first to get a feel for the selection and then the second I am on my own and having a great time playing. Doing this helps me in reading music better.

Great Book!!!
This book is so amazing!!! I am a MAJOR Disney lover so when I saw this book I had to get it. I am in my third year of playing flute at level 4/5 and while some of the songs were easy at once, others took me a while to get down. This is the perfect book for someone who can play but who isn't a master yet. Plus, the CD that comes with it is really useful!

Disney Flute Solos an excellent buy
My daughter is in her second year playing flute at school. She had no trouble playing the pieces from this book. There is a CD included which has the orchestral music on it. Within a day Alyssa played all the pieces, accompanied by the CD. An excellent buy!

OFF-KEY
THIS IS OKAY. SOME OF THE PIECES ARE AMAZING, WHILE MOST OF THEM ARE NOT WRITTEN IN THE PROPER KEY AND SOUND A BIT OFF WHEN COMPARED TO THE MOVIES OR CD'S. SOME PIECES, LIKE BE OUR GUEST AND THE TARZAN SONG ARE PERFECT!

A GREAT CHOICE!
I highly reccomend this book. It helps you with rhythms, articulation, and hitting those high notes. Another good book to help you with hitting (really) high notes is The Phantom of the Opera. In Prima Donna it goes all the way to a high (highest) A flat. If your a Disney fan this is a must get!!

Keep playing over band hiatus...
A fun book, not very difficult as a whole but with some tricky bits. The CD sounds great, and it has separate tracks with and without the melody line. Has some good high notes, but offers alternate cues if they get too high.

I love this book but it is just too easy. I would like a book that's more of a challenge. I could play all the songs right through the first time I got this book. But this is great for beginners and early intermediates. The CD is fun to play along with.

too easy
I have been playing flute for about 5 years and I decided that I wanted to play a Disney song and then I realized that it is way too simplified, so I went out and bought the same book but for violin and the difficulty level was more appropriate for me. Other than that I enjoyed this book.

CD accompaniment makes it SO FUN to play
Great songs. I especially LOVE "Under the Sea". It's fast and lively -- the challenge is in the speed. I also like "Colors of the Wind", which is easier, but if you play it expressively it is very beautiful. I'm glad I bought this book.

I loved playing this book! The songs are so cool! I wish my band teacher would play "Friend Like Me" for out concert! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's easier than I thought it would be. Some of the songs are rather boring. But all in all it's great fun!

I have been playing flute for two years. Some song is simple and some are harder. This book it excellent to help you keep it fast but smooth while playing. Since most know the songs, it easy to know how the songs should be played and sound.

A really good Disney book!
This is a fantastic book for someone who has 2 or more years experience and loves Disney songs. And ths CD makes the music more fun to play. It has easy key signatures. It has a few tricky rhythms but playing along with the CD helps. I own two other Disney books but this one is the best. I recommend this book for people who are tired of te music they have need something new.

For Disney Fans Worldwide
I have had this book around 2-3 years now and it just never gets old. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because it dosn't have one song I wanted (A Whole New World) so I had to look for an another book for that. I think the CD really adds someting extra to this book and the songs sound great with or without it. It also has the "pop" versions which makes the songs a bit different from other versions in other books. All in all this is a wonderful book that anyone could enjoy. It's the perfect mix of all levels of music.

This is a wonderful book.A few people may say that this book is way too easy but they don't know anything.I HIGHLY reccomend this book to anyone who plays the flute. It's like playing in an orchestra because you have a beautiful accompanament tape. If you get sick of playing, this will get you back into the love of playing.I am 12, and play flute, piccolo, and piano, and I just love this book. I also reccomend 50 years of movie music it's great!

A Good-fun challenge
I've been playing the flute for three years now and I'm currently 14. I got this book on my second year and i still love it. So thing the songs are easy and theyare. But to me they give you a challenge and help you learn to play with speed, expecally with Zero to Hero and Be our Guest. If you are a beggineer or a professional, i would definitly recomend this book to you. [...]

An excellent book.I play it a lot. I've been playing for four years now,and I'm 11. I think this book is best for people who've been playnig for at least one year, otherwise, it might be too difficult. This will really help flute players adjust to an acompanament. The music is beautiful and it will bring the love of flute playing back to people who lose it!

This book is good for beginners IF you know the songs well. If you aren't a geek and don't memorize disney songs, the rhythm can get a bit confusing. But other than that I would totally recommend this book to everyone. That geek thing was a joke btw. lol.

Challenging and fun!
I got this book for a Christmas present and I fell in love with it. It has every Disney song you could possibly want to play along with an excellent cd with a accompaniment part as well as the part you are playing. I have only been playing flute for a little bit but have been moved up to the highest band in my school. I consider myself an excellent flute player. This book is good anywhere from 2nd year to 4th year. I have many friends who are older than me and even better than me who still enjoy it more than any other book. I also HIGHLY suggest 50 years of movie music. It ranges from the theme of Godfather to beautiful disney pieces that are not included in the other book such as a whole new world, beaty and the beast, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious(I had to look at my book for that spelling!),once upon a dream and many other songs. The reason I am mentioning this book in this review is because I reccomend them as a pair. I have a number of books but these are my favorites.

For flutes who want something extra
This book was great for me, as a devout Disney fan. The accompaniment cd was beautiful. It was like playing with a full orchestra right in my living room. The book did get tiring after a few weeks so that's why it gets 4 stars. That's just my opinion

Great Book!
This book was really fun to play along with and easy to understand. Since I am a beginner, it seems like the perfect book to start learning to.

Enjoyable book
This book is great for disney fans. I like to play songs that I have heard and enjoy like these songs. The CD part that has the melody cue is helpful for the rhythm. then you get to play with a band without the melody cue which is neat!

Fun, Fun!
This is a delightful book and the orchestral CD is fantastic. It is wonderful to have a full orchestra accompianiment without any cue instrument playing with you. Anyone that likes Disney will love this!

disney solos
This book has some of the best disney songs for the flute and you dont need to be an expert to play them. The cd that comes with it is just beautiful and helps out a lot when trying to play the music.

WOW
A great book that kept me practicing for hours on end!The CD accompaniment is great because it has the regular accompaniment and then one with the melody cue. It is great to have that because it helps you with the rhythm if you are not sure about it and when you first start to learn the song its great to have that.

The Best Music in the world
It's all the main songs that Disney has for the flute and is just the best. It just gives you the chance to play the main songs.
