Disappointed
I didn't realize Guest had written most of these tunes. They are all contemporary. I was looking for traditional tunes, arranges for 3 violins. OK to play, but I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I purchased! feel like I wasted my money.

Not much for three violins
This was a waste of my money. I was looking for pieces for three violins. There are only a few included. The description didn't say this at all. I assumed each piece could be played by 1, 2, or 3 violins. The pieces were nice, but not worth what it cost me per piece.

Songs are all written by the same person
I was expecting a collection of old-time songs, and did not realize that all the songs in the book were written by Bill Guest (fairly recently). They all have an old-timey feel, but lack the variety I was hoping for. (I see now I didn't read the description closely enough.) The CD is fun to play along with.

More duets not trios
This album has more two parts than three parts.

Good Book
This is a very good book. It has fun, old time, country, slow waltzes with good parts in them. They are not to easy but not too hard.
