Nice sheet!

Very easy to read due to the relatively large and clean print. Worths your money!

A beautiful piece

From the first time I heard this played by Van Cliburn as an encore in Lincoln Center, I've loved this piece. The incredibly difficult section has an alternate transcription written in this edition. It preserves the essence of the piece, but makes it readable by an advanced intermediate.

Most popular arrangement.

Schimmer is clear and legible print, however not superior to Uhrtext. Refingering may be required. List's transcription is well done.

Just lovely

This is a lovely edition of this most hauntingly beautiful song. The List's variations are accompanied by Scharfenberg's editorials which are closer to the simpler but more beautiful original Schuman.

Liszt Improves on Schumann!

Hector Berlioz once said of Liszt that his "transcriptions of the music of others is better than the original music." In the case of "Widmung" Berlioz hit the nail squarely on the head. This Liszt transcription of the Schumann lieder for tenor voice is far superior to the original. It is just gorgeous! I highly recommend it to everyone!
