Dan Fogelberg - review
Dan Fogelberg is one of my favorite artists and I have all of his CDs and a lot of his sheet music. This compilation is good although I wish the guitar parts had been more accurate. This is a common problem when buying music by guitarists - it is normally transcribed by a pianist and thus written for the piano rather than the guitar. I normally look for the guitar tablature version of the book but it is often not available.

Useful guitar chords but this is a piano book
I've enjoyed Fogelberg since he came on the scene. I wanted to get more info than internet tabs to help me play more of his material on my guitar. This book serves my purposes moderately well. The words are complete. The chords are legitimate and most of them can be fingered by a human. However, the music and keys in this book are for piano. This is the same situation as 20 years ago. I'd hoped for a guitar-centric book but the material about this book indicated it was mostly a piano book so I wasn't disappointed with the product. I've found several pieces that work much better for guitar if the chords are transposed to a different key. But this doesn't take away from the fact that there are some interesting chord voicings that are new to me and not contained in several of my chord finders. And the chord progressions are good enough that transposition takes care of my fingering difficulties. I'm enjoying the book and the learning.

Everything I wanted!
Dan Fogelberg touched me with his music for many years. I will miss his utter compassion and contributions to the world of soulfull music. This sheet music book will allow me to know ALL the words and verses and hopefully I will learn a piece or 2.

You Rock!
My boyfriend had tried to find this volume for quite some time. He had lost his original in a flood. You not only had access to it but it was delivered on Valentine's Day! I didn't think it would make it on time. He was soooo happy!

A Singer/Songwriter For The Ages
Dan Fogelberg writes with such a depth of "reality", that to listen to his music is only one phase of listening to his "soul" speak, but to learn his tunes via sheet music, well this truly helps to enjoy the gift's of a singer/songwriter for the ages!

Outstanding!
This book is both for the serious Fogelberg fan as well as the serious guitar player. Dan's guitar style ranks among the best of modern time. Hey Dan, when is volume 2 coming?

A must for Fogelberg enthusiasts!
One of the better books of sheet music on the market. All his best hits are there for the mastering. I highly recommend it!

Good stuff to learn on!
I pretty much taught myself with Fogelbergs music. Of course I'm a long time fan of Dan Fogelberg - it helps a great deal to know the songs before you begin playing them. It's well worth the $$ you spend. Keep playing and keep singing!
