Crown Point March - Score by Bruce Pearson. For concert band. Grade 1. Score. Published by Neil A. Kjos Music Company (KJ.WB102F).
This mainstay of grade 1 band literature features solid scoring and memorable melodies. Stirring strains of trumpets and flutes carry the main melody after the opening fanfare. This march offers easy and advanced snare drum parts that can be played simultaneously. A must for every young band library! Correlates With Best In Class Bk.1 Page 12 / SOE Bk.1 Page 13.

Great Beginner arrangement
This piece has a nice melody, dynamic contrast and the kids seem to love it. Everyone gets a bit of melody, even the low brass and there is a contrasting legato section. I've used this several times and have always had very good results.

It's Fun to Play!!!
Crown Point March is one of the pieces that I played in Beginning band in 2003-2004 school year. My director showed us how to play it correctly. Don't mess up at the dotted half notes. There is only about 1 in there so be pretty careful of how you are...
