Concerto in G Major
I have been playing the flute for just on three years now and found this concerto in G Major by Quantz thoroughly enjoyable. This piece is lively and great for intermediate players, it's about grade 7 but would be suitable for anyone around 5th grade and above although it could be a challenge to begin with. Some of the most enjoyable parts from the first movement of this piece is the running semi-quavers about half way through, made smooth with slurs and immediately changang into staccato to give it life in the middle this smooth section. I would recommend this piece to everyone who is enthusiastic about flute playing, although i'm bais because this genre of music is my forte.

beautiful and inspiring
this masterpiece is not only beautiful (like all quantz's work is) but difficult to get the "moods" since it has to be played from the heart

Baroque Music
When it comes to baroque music Quantz is basically "god". This piece is very technical but a pleasure to listen to and play.
